Seneca Foods posts third-quarter profit of $8.2 million
MARION, N.Y. (AP) _ Seneca Foods Corp. (SENEA) on Wednesday reported fiscal third-quarter earnings of $8.2 million.
On a per-share basis, the Marion, New York-based company said it had profit of 82 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring gains, came to 55 cents per share.
The fruit and vegetable company posted revenue of $369.7 million in the period.
Seneca Foods shares have risen 1 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $40.55, an increase of 47 percent in the last 12 months.
