Smith Jerrod Is Actually Team Carrie
Remember that face? How could anyone forget? Especially if you picture him naked on a billboard in Times Square, a bottle of vodka positioned just so.
Yes, it's Smith Jerrod, Samantha's younger boyfriend from Sex and the City. The one who shaves his head in solidarity when she gets cancer. The one who gets her to say the L word, and who becomes a famous actor in the movie. And yes, even Smith Jerrod, or at least Jason Lewis, the actor who played him, has weighed in on the Sarah Jessica Parker vs Kim Cattrall feud that's been brewing this week slash for the last fifteen years.
As E! reports, when asked by a KTLA anchor whose side he was on in the kerfuffle, the 46-year-old actor was fair but clear. Very clear. "Listen, I have to say that Sarah was always just so lovely and such a consummate professional and I think that people should remember their graciousness and the things that have been given to them," he said. "And I'm going to stop there. Because I've got nothing good to say."
The anchor presses on: "If there's a team Sarah or a team Kim, my sense is you're on team Sarah? " The smokeshow doesn't even hesitate: "I might just have to say yeah. What a gracious lady. She was always so good to me."
And that's that! If tons of on-screen coitus doesn't secure lifelong loyalty, well, we don't know what will.
