UPDATE: On Saturday, SpaceX successfully launched another batch of Starlink satellites from the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Brevard County.

The Falcon 8 rocket carrying 53 Starlink satellites lifted off at 4:40 p.m., and about 8 minutes later the rocket’s first stage successfully landed at sea on the droneship Just Read the Instructions.

SpaceX successfully launched a batch of Starlink satellites on Friday from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California.

SpaceX is planning to launch a Falcon 9 rocket to carry another batch of Starlink satellites into orbit.

The launch is set for 4:40 p.m.

After the launch, the first stage of the rocket is set to launch on SpaceX’s Just Read the Instructions droneship in the Atlantic Ocean.

If the launch does not happen Saturday, a backup opportunity is available on Sunday at 4:12 p.m.
