Legendary Marvel Comics figurehead Stan Lee has been granted a restraining order against a memorabilia dealer who has been accused of theft and fraud.

As Variety reports, judge Laura Hymowitz has ordered that Keya Morgan is not allowed to contact Lee or his family, nor come within 100 yards of them.

Morgan has been accused of taking artwork from Lee's home, stealing cash that Lee had been paid for for signing autographs, making false reports to the police, and moving Lee from his home, family and caregivers to an apartment.

Jonathan Freund, the attorney who was representing Stan Lee, said outside the court: "Stan is doing pretty well. He's working again, and his health is improving. He's still creating characters."

The outlet also states that the Spider-Man co-creator is also suing former publicist Jerry Olivarez, who is accused of taking $4.1 million from Lee's accounts.

After a battle with pneumonia earlier this year, Lee returned to Twitter and said: "I'm back again with new energy.

"I want to start reaching out again. We've been together for so many generations, I don't want that to stop.

"I don't consider you as fans, I consider you as close, close friends. We're not going to let anything come between that arrangement."
