Investing.com - Stocks in focus in pre-market trade Thursday:

• Fiat Chrysler (FCAU) jumped 6.19%, General Motors (GM) rose 2.67% and Ford (F) stock gained 1.36% by 8:27 AM ET (12:27 GMT) after German newspaper Handelsblatt reported that the U.S. ambassador to Germany has told German car bosses that President Donald Trump would suspend threats to impose tariffs on cars imported from the European Union if the bloc in turn lifted duties on U.S. cars.

• Boeing (BA) stock advanced 0.77% as Embraer (ERJ) Chief Executive officer Paulo Souza e Silva told financial newspaper Valor Economico that talks to combine both firms’ operations had entered the final stages.

• Netflix (NFLX) gained 1.12% after launching its first original series in India.

• Zynerba Pharmaceuticals (ZYNE) stock crashed 21.54% as the firm announced that its study of cannabinoid skin patch for neuropsychiatric disorders did not achieve its main goals, so it will focus on epilepsy programs.

• Praxair (PX) stock rose 2.11% amid plans to sell the majority of its European assets for $5.8 billion (€5 billion) to Taiyo Nippon Sanso in order to comply with regulatory requirements for its acquisition of The Linde Group.

• Enbridge (ENB) rose 2.16% after the company announced the sale of its Canadian natural gas gathering and processing assets for $3.3 billion (C$4.31 billion).
