‘Twin Peaks’ First Look: Bring Home the Log Lady

It’s only appropriate that Twin Peaks resident log lover, Margaret Lanterman a.k.a. the Log Lady, will be immortalized in wood. The fan favorite character, played by the late Catherine E. Coulson — who passed away in 2015, but not before filming a brief appearance in Twin Peaks: The Return — is inaugurating a new series of Pin Mate wooden figures from toy manufacturer Bif Bang Pow! and its exclusive distributor, Entertainment Earth.

The companies have previously released Pin Mate sets pegged to such movies and TV shows as The Big Lebowski and Star Trek: The Original Series, and this new set joins a recently-announced Agent Cooper bobble head amongst Entertainment Earth’s growing library of Twin Peaks offerings.

Along with good ol’ Good Coop, the Log Lady is making her debut at the San Diego Comic-Con, which runs from July 20-23. Standing tall at 2-inches, both figures boast 360-degree artwork that takes note of such details as the Log Lady’s red glasses and the knots on her precious log. A mere 1,352 sets will be available for purchase at Entertainment Earth’s SDCC booth, increasing their value for Twin Peaks fans. To borrow a lyric from Ren and Stimpy, everyone needs a log… lady.

Twin Peaks: The Return airs Sundays at 9 p.m. on Showtime. Visit Entertainment Earth for more information about the Log Lady Pin Mate set.
