Valmie Resources (VMRI) Inks Agreement with International Crop Monitor

HOUSTON, TX / ACCESSWIRE / April 22, 2015 / Valmie Resources Inc. (VMRI) today announced it has executed a joint venture agreement with Monitoreo Especializado Agrícola de Jalisco, SA (MEA), an international crop monitoring solutions provider based in Mexico. Under the terms of the agreement, Valmie will work with MEA to develop and commercialize an agricultural drone platform specific to the needs of MEA and its clients. The platform will consist of Valmie's unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) technology and its AIMD (Autonomous Intelligence for Mobile Devices) software.

Jalisco, Mexico-based MEA provides crop monitoring and data collection services to farm operators located primarily in Central and South America.

Valmie's UAV's, equipped with cameras and data collection equipment, will be used by MEA to survey crops, monitor for plant diseases and precision-spray pesticides and fertilizers. Offering a unique bird's-eye view of the fields' overall condition, data collected and analyzed using Valmie's UAV technology is expected to help boost crop health, improve field management practices, reduce costs and improve yields.
