Inside St Joseph’s College: Hong Kong’s historic school for boys

Founded in 1875, St Joseph’s College is a historic Catholic school for boys in Hong Kong. Some of the colonial-era, pre-World War II structures on its campus are declared monuments by the Hong Kong government giving them statutory protection. The school’s principal Perrick Ching offered a tour as the 145-year-old school embarks on a HK$500 million (US$64.3 million) facelift for the first time in decades.
