DAMARISCOTTA, Maine (AP) _ The First Bancorp Inc. (FNLC) on Wednesday reported fourth-quarter profit of $4.3 million.
The bank, based in Damariscotta, Maine, said it had earnings of 40 cents per share.
The bank posted revenue of $16.7 million in the period. Its adjusted revenue was $13.8 million.
For the year, the company reported profit of $18 million, or $1.66 per share. Revenue was reported as $55.4 million.
The First Bancorp Inc. shares have decreased 22 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $25.95, a rise of 45 percent in the last 12 months.
