Logitech Launches Racing Wheel for Xbox One & PS Platform - Analyst Blog
Riding high on the product introduction spree, Logitech International SA LOGI recently came up with a force feedback racing wheel – Logitech G29 Driving Force. The latest hi-tech peripheral of Logitech is particularly designed for PCs as well as flagship gaming platforms of Sony Corp. SNE and Microsoft Corporation MSFT – PlayStation 4 (‘PS4’) and PlayStation 3 (‘PS3’) and Xbox One, respectively.
Shares of the company rose about 0.6%, following this news release, during the regular trading session on Jun 12, 2015.

First, talking about PS3 and PS4, Logitech and Sony have been working in collaboration for the past one and half year to bring in a fully licensed racing wheel for PS games lovers. Now Xbox One, Logitech G29 Driving Force is the first racing wheel launched for the Xbox One gaming platform. The product is very well suited for the upcoming highly-awaited racing game on Xbox One – Forza Motorsport 6.
The overall specifications of this latest product of Logitech remain the same for both the gaming platforms and PCs. Especially created for precision racing and lifelong consistency, the racing wheel is armed with dual-motor force feedback transmission, stainless steel throttle, brake, and clutch pedals as well as leather-wrapped rim.
While Logitech G29 Driving Force for PS3 and PS4 is available for sale from July 2015 at U.S. global retailers, XboX One and PC gamers have to wait till October this year to get it. Retail price for all platforms is expected to be $399.99. Microsoft has planned to feature this product in the Xbox booth during the Electronic Entertainment Expo 2015.
