MTV VMAs Audience Drops 34 Percent

This year’s MTV Video Music Awards amassed 6.5 million total viewers across MTV and its sister networks on Sunday night, plunging 34 percent from the kudoscast’s 2015 audience.

Even the much-heralded “return” of Britney Spears to the VMAs stage underwhelmed and only netted a “B-” grade from readers.
