Next iPhones to have Force Touch feature, says report
Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) has begun work on new iPhones that will feature Force Touch, reported Bloomberg, citing sources familiar with the matter. The feature will sense how hard a user is pushing down on the screen. (Tweet this)
The new phones will remain the same size as the current iPhone 6 and 6 plus and look almost the same, the report said.

Force Touch is already available on the Apple Watch and the newest MacBook model. "The feature, which lets users adjust the strength of their screen taps to bring up different functions, is Apple's latest move to stay ahead of rivals such as Samsung (Korea Stock Exchange: 83-KR), which this year released its latest Galaxy smartphone with a screen that can be viewed from the side," reports Bloomberg.
Final assembly could be impacted by the supply and yield of displays, the report added.
