Skyworks Launches Solutions to Address Carrier Challenges
Global networking solutions company Skyworks Solutions, Inc SWKS recently launched SkyOne Ultra 2.0, a highly integrated, single LTE (Long Term Evolution) SKU solution to address carrier aggregation challenges and deliver LTE band support while extending the power range.
The new platform utilizes Skyworks’ revolutionary SkyBlue technology and a separate 2G transmitter to deliver a complete RF front-end system consisting of three LTE modules. The SkyOne Ultra 2.0 solution comes in a compact size with a support for 22 bands within 240 square millimetres, while providing optimum power output and efficiency with best-in-class battery life.
The new launch continues Skyworks' strategy of creating highly configurable and customized solutions that reduce system complexity and deliver unparalleled performance. SkyOne Ultra 2.0 enables OEMs to launch products into the market faster by enabling true single SKU platforms with flexible antenna support and a baseband agnostic interface.
Skyworks front-end solutions are being leveraged by the industry's leading baseband providers for their smartphone platforms, which currently support the world's leading mobile broadband standards.
