IntriCon Corporation manufactures and sells hybrid amplifiers and integrated circuit components; faceplates for in-the-ear and in-the-canal hearing instruments; and micro miniature electromechanical components, such as volume controls, microphones, receivers, trimmer potentiometers, and switches to hearing instrument manufacturers, as well as various communication devices that have applications in the fire, law enforcement, safety, aviation, and military markets. It also designs, manufactures, and sells thermistor, film capacitor, and magnetic products to industrial, commercial, and military customers. IntriCon Corporation sells its products through independent sales representatives and internal sales force. The company, formerly known as Selas Corporation of America, was founded in 1930 and is headquartered in Arden Hills, Minnesota. |
