UPDATE 1-Jazz Pharmaceuticals' PTSD drug fails in mid-stage trial

Dec 21 (Reuters) - Jazz Pharmaceuticals said on Thursday its post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) drug failed in a mid-stage study, sending shares down more than 4% in after-market trading.
The trial failed to show a statistically significant reduction in PTSD symptoms, as measured on a scale, when compared with a placebo at 12 weeks.
