On a per-share basis, the San Jose, California-based company said it had profit of 5 cents. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 13 cents per share.
The provider of networking technologies posted revenue of $57.7 million in the period.
A10 Networks shares have decreased 16% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $13.98, a fall of 17% in the last 12 months.
