ACVF Serves up Tyson in latest Boycott: Divesting in wake of putting Migrants over Americans

In this article:

WASHINGTON, DC / ACCESSWIRE / March 19, 2024 / Yesterday, the American Conservative Values ETF (NYSE:ACVF) announced that it has divested its holdings of and initiated a "Refuse to Buy" rating on Tyson Foods, Inc. (TSN)

After a comprehensive review of our continued investment, ACVF's management team has decided to divest its holding of Tyson Foods, Inc. (TSN)). "Their recent decision to hire migrant workers while firing American workers, exposes their shareholders to backlash from one of the most contentious political issues of the day" stated CEO and co-founder William Flaig.

According to Pew Research, 80% of US Adults say the U.S. government is doing a bad job handling the migrant influx.

"The risk of alienating 80% of your customers outweighs any potential economic benefit" stated ACVF president and co-founder Tom Carter "ACVF's principled boycotts should reflect concerns within the conservative community. Using migrants to replace American jobs gives the stream of illegal workers reason to keep crossing our open border. Securing the boarder should be America's number one priority. "

"It's a moral imperative to stop and roll back the left's takeover of corporate America," stated Flaig. "Giving conservative investors the power to fight back is why we built ACVF."

"We must hold companies accountable for their actions. We need to vote with our wallets and deny them access to the capital they need. ACVF is currently refusing to invest in 36 such companies," stated Carter. "I'm proud to offer an alternative to the S&P 500*, which currently keeps 25 cents of every invested dollar from these companies."

Tom Carter reiterated, "we do not want to give the companies that are eagerly working to destroy conservative values our hard-earned investment dollars, and neither should you. Companies like Walt Disney, Blackrock, Google, Amazon, and others."
