Alpha and Omega: Fiscal 2Q Earnings Snapshot
SUNNYVALE, Calif. (AP) _ Alpha and Omega Semiconductor Ltd. (AOSL) on Thursday reported fiscal second-quarter net income of $12.9 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.
The Sunnyvale, California-based company said it had profit of 47 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for stock option expense and non-recurring costs, were 65 cents per share.
The chipmaker posted revenue of $158.8 million in the period.
For the current quarter ending in April, Alpha and Omega said it expects revenue in the range of $154 million to $160 million.
Alpha and Omega shares have risen 47% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $34.82, nearly tripling in the last 12 months.
