LEUVEN, Belgium (AP) — LEUVEN, Belgium (AP) — Anheuser Busch Inbev SA (BUD) on Wednesday reported fourth-quarter profit of $1.89 billion.

The Leuven, Belgium-based company said it had profit of 94 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring gains, came to 82 cents per share.

The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 76 cents per share.

The brewer posted revenue of $14.47 billion in the period, falling short of Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $15.34 billion.

For the year, the company reported profit of $5.34 billion, or $2.65 per share. Revenue was reported as $59.38 billion.

Anheuser-Busch Inbev shares have decreased slightly more than 3% since the beginning of the year. The stock has climbed roughly 3% in the last 12 months.
