I’m A Celebrity jungle king Harry Redknapp has revealed that his son Jamie’s split from wife of 19 years Louise was a “choker”.

The couple ended their marriage last December after months of speculation they had been on the rocks since Louise’s appearance on Strictly Come Dancing.

Harry has opened up about the high-profile divorce, saying it was “very difficult” for the family.

The 71-year-old told The Sun: “It was a choker. We love Louise as well, it was a big blow to all of us.

“It’s all amicable, absolutely, Sandra talks to Louise’s mum all the time.”

Jamie and Louise, who were married for 19 years, share sons Charley, 14, and Beau, 10.

Actress Emily Atack, who finished runner-up to Harry in the jungle, admitted to having a crush on Jamie.

Atack told Harry she would make a “really good daughter-in-law” and then urged Jamie to “call her” during a chat with the Bush Telegraph.

But he didn’t seem too keen on the idea as he dashed her hopes in an interview with talkSPORT, saying she was a “nice girl” but that was all.

Chatting to Dean Saunders on Alan Brazil’s Breakfast Show, Jamie was asked what he thinks is more likely: Liverpool winning the Champions League or him taking Atack on a date.

He replied: “What’s more likely did you say? Ah Deano come on. Leave it out.

“Listen, she’s a very nice girl isn’t she. Let’s leave it at that.”

Harry later joked that his son wouldn't be able to "pull" Atack even if he wanted to.
