Aptus Adds Advisor-Facing Portfolio Managers to Support Growth Amid Acquisition of LibertyFi
FAIRHOPE, Ala., March 13, 2024--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aptus Capital Advisors (Aptus) is pleased to welcome Brett Bennett, CFA and Brian Jacobs, CFA to its investment team. These additions come during a period of growth for Aptus, alongside its acquisition of LibertyFi, a tech and operations consultancy for RIAs.
Launched in 2013, Aptus aims to help advisors achieve better client outcomes by supporting their needs in portfolio design, due diligence and documentation, and client acquisition and messaging. The addition of LibertyFi in January has strengthened the firm’s ability to deliver a turnkey solution for outsourced investment management, technology, and operations.
Brett Bennett, CFA, focuses on portfolio reviews and fund due diligence at Aptus. He brings experience from Envestnet and Schwab, where he worked in money manager research and investment advice. Bennett earned his MBA from the University of Colorado-Denver and a bachelor's degree in Finance from Bentley University.
Brian Jacobs, CFA, joins Aptus with a background in investment product development and management. His role involves educating investors about Aptus’ products and services, and helping deliver unique investment solutions in an ETF wrapper. His experience includes positions at RS Investments, Mellon Capital, and PIMCO. Jacobs holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a bachelor's degree in Finance from The Pennsylvania State University.
