SAN DIEGO (AP) — SAN DIEGO (AP) — Arcturus Therapeutics (ARCT) on Thursday reported a fourth-quarter loss of $8.6 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
On a per-share basis, the San Diego-based company said it had a loss of 32 cents.
The pharmaceutical company posted revenue of $34 million in the period, which fell short of Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $64.1 million.
For the year, the company reported a loss of $26.6 million, or $1 per share, swinging to a loss in the period. Revenue was reported as $169.9 million.
Arcturus Therapeutics shares have risen 18% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $37.19, more than doubling in the last 12 months.
