One year after 22 people were killed when a bomber attacked Ariana Grande’s concert in Manchester, England, the singer is still making sure she's amplifying the voices of those lost, and ensuring that their memory lives on.

On Thursday, the "No Tears Left to Cry" singer tweeted a close-up shot of a small bee tattoo behind her left ear, captioning the post, "forever️" with a small cloud emoji. Fans will immediately recognize the ink as a symbol of the city of Manchester, which as the BBC reports, is incorporated into the Manchester Coat of Arms.

The residents of Manchester view the bee as a representation of the hardworking spirit of the city and its citizens. As PRI reported after the bombing, thousands of Manchester residents decided to show their solidarity with the victims and survivors in the form of getting bee tattoos en masse. As The Sun reported shortly after the attack, Ariana and her Dangerous Woman tour team got inked as well, in a touching gesture of remembrance.

In a recent interview with Time, Ariana said that she is still struggling to deal with feelings of grief about the tragedy. “The processing part is going to take forever,” she said in the interview. “Music is supposed to be the safest thing in the world. I think that’s why it’s still so heavy on my heart every single day. I wish there was more that I could fix. You think with time it’ll become easier to talk about. Or you’ll make peace with it. But every day I wait for that peace to come and it’s still very painful.”
