GREENWICH, Conn. (AP) _ Associated Capital Group Inc. (AC) on Wednesday reported fourth-quarter net income of $51.1 million.

On a per-share basis, the Greenwich, Connecticut-based company said it had profit of $2.29.

The asset manager posted revenue of $12 million in the period.

For the year, the company reported profit of $18.8 million, or 84 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $19 million.

Associated Capital shares have risen 1% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $35.55, a decline of 14% in the last 12 months.
