Bengals TE Tyler Eifert breaks out relatable touchdown celebration, chugs beer in end zone

Cincinnati Bengals tight end Tyler Eifert may have just busted out the most relatable touchdown celebration so far this season.

Eifert caught a 15-yard touchdown pass against the Atlanta Falcons early on Sunday afternoon in the back of the end zone, tying the game up 7-7.

So naturally, Eifert did what many fans do (or want to do) after a touchdown is scored: he chugged a beer.

OK, it wasn’t an actual beer. But Eifert ran through the motions with the ball, smashing it repeatedly on his head to open it and then chugging the beer in peak form. (The highlight is at the top of this post.)

With it being Eifert’s first touchdown reception this season — and his first since the 2015 season — he’s likely earned a cold one.

Unfortunately, the 28-year-old will have to wait a while to enjoy it. Eifert was carted off the field early in the second half after suffering a gruesome ankle injury on a two-yard completion.

The Bengals rallied back to beat the Falcons 37-36 with a late touchdown from A.J. Green in the closing seconds.
