DALLAS (AP) — DALLAS (AP) — Berry Petroleum Corp. (BRY) on Wednesday reported fourth-quarter net income of $62.6 million.

The Dallas-based company said it had net income of 81 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring gains, came to 13 cents per share.

The results fell short of Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 22 cents per share.

The independent upstream energy company posted revenue of $300.3 million in the period.

For the year, the company reported profit of $37.4 million, or 48 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $903.5 million.

Berry Petroleum shares have dropped almost 2% since the beginning of the year. The stock has fallen 28% in the last 12 months.
