NEW YORK (AP) — NEW YORK (AP) — BlackRock Kelso Capital Corp. (BKCC) on Tuesday reported fourth-quarter net income of $5.4 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.

On a per-share basis, the New York-based company said it had profit of 7 cents. Earnings, adjusted for investment costs, were 13 cents per share.

The closed-end investment company posted revenue of $20.3 million in the period.

For the year, the company reported profit of $26.2 million, or 36 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $80.4 million.

In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, the company's shares hit $3.75. A year ago, they were trading at $3.77.
