BOISE, Idaho (AP) — BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Boise Cascade L.L.C. (BCC) on Tuesday reported fourth-quarter net income of $97.5 million.

On a per-share basis, the Boise, Idaho-based company said it had net income of $2.44.

The results fell short of Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $2.45 per share.

The engineered wood products and plywood company posted revenue of $1.64 billion in the period.

For the year, the company reported profit of $483.7 million, or $12.12 per share. Revenue was reported as $6.84 billion.

Boise Cascade shares have increased 5% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $135.87, an increase of 82% in the last 12 months.
