Brazil's Embraer doubles capacity for bizjets maintenance in US
SAO PAULO, Dec 20 (Reuters) - Brazilian planemaker Embraer is doubling its capacity for aircraft maintenance services in the United States, it said on Wednesday, adding facilities in Dallas, Cleveland and Sanford to a base that already includes plants in Arizona and Florida.
The company said in a statement that the new maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) centers would be focused on supporting the "continued growth of the company's executive jet customer base" in the U.S., its No. 1 market.
Embraer's services and support unit has accounted for 31.5% of the firm's total revenue in the first nine months of 2023. (Reporting by Gabriel Araujo; Editing by Steven Grattan)
