Brazil's Infracommerce launches share offering to raise up to $83 mln

SAO PAULO, Dec 7 (Reuters) - Brazilian e-commerce platform Infracommerce has filed for a follow-on share offering as it aims to raise money to balance its capital structure and pay for acquisitions, it said in a securities filing on Thursday.

The offering will initially comprise 187.5 million new common shares but may be increased by up to 33.33% if demand allows it, Infracommerce said, adding that at its Wednesday closing price of 1.63 real per share that would total as much as 407.5 million reais ($83.42 million).

Patria Investments has committed to invest 60 million reais if the offering is priced between 1.60 and 1.70 real per share, Infracommerce said. Pricing is set to happen on Dec. 14. ($1 = 4.8847 reais) (Reporting by Gabriel Araujo; Editing by Steven Grattan)
