BRENTWOOD, Tenn. (AP) — BRENTWOOD, Tenn. (AP) — Brookdale Senior Living Inc. (BKD) on Tuesday reported a loss of $91.2 million in its fourth quarter.

The Brentwood, Tennessee-based company said it had a loss of 40 cents per share.

The senior housing company posted revenue of $754.5 million in the period.

For the year, the company reported that its loss narrowed to $189 million, or 84 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $3.02 billion.

Brookdale shares have increased almost 6% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $6.16, more than doubling in the last 12 months.
