BILLERICA, Mass. (AP) — BILLERICA, Mass. (AP) — Bruker Corp. (BRKR) on Thursday reported third-quarter net income of $88.1 million.

The Billerica, Massachusetts-based company said it had net income of 60 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 74 cents per share.

The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of seven analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 63 cents per share.

The scientific equipment maker posted revenue of $742.8 million in the period, which also beat Street forecasts. Five analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $718.8 million.

Bruker expects full-year earnings in the range of $2.48 to $2.53 per share, with revenue in the range of $2.88 billion to $2.91 billion.

Bruker shares have dropped 17% since the beginning of the year. The stock has declined 9.5% in the last 12 months.
