LYNCHBURG, Va. (AP) — LYNCHBURG, Va. (AP) — BWX Technologies Inc. (BWXT) on Thursday reported second-quarter earnings of $58.6 million.

The Lynchburg, Virginia-based company said it had net income of 64 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for restructuring costs and costs related to mergers and acquisitions, were 65 cents per share.

The supplier of nuclear fuel and components to the U.S. government posted revenue of $612.4 million in the period.

BWX expects full-year earnings in the range of $2.85 to $3 per share, with revenue expected to be $2.4 billion.

BWX shares have increased 18% since the beginning of the year.
