Carly Waddell and Evan Bass Welcome a Baby Girl

A new Bachelor Nation baby has arrived! Bachelor in Paradise success story Carly Waddell and Evan Bass have welcomed their first child together — a baby girl — and shared a handful of pics and details about the little one’s arrival.

“We are so happy to announce the birth of sweet Isabella Evelyn Bass,” Waddell captioned the first photo of herself, husband Bass, and baby Isabella, who was born on Thursday, February 15, according to People. “She weighs 6lbs 8oz and has currently stolen her dad’s heart.”

Bass doubled down on Waddell’s claim with an Instagram post of his own. “My heart is toast,” he wrote. “Like toast with jelly cuz my dang heart is shook. I love her I love everyone I love love. Thanks for the encouraging words. (Also, hahaha can ya believe this is even happening. Who would’ve thought?!?)”

Waddell also said that the birth was “amazing” and without any complications. “I’m high over the moon with happiness,” she wrote, before quipping, “Also high from pain meds.”

Little Isabella is Waddell’s first child, but she joins three pretty excited half-siblings — Bass’ three other children from a previous relationship. The proud new dad shared pics of his three sons meeting and holding their new little sister as part of an Instagram slideshow.

Waddell and Bass met on season 3 of BIP, and in June, they went back to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, to tie the knot in a wedding that was televised as part of BIP season 4. The couple announced they were expecting back in August, and last month revealed that she would be called Isabella — Bella for short. Her middle name, Evelyn, is a tribute to Bass’ family. “My sweet Grandma Bass was named Evelyn and she was the best and I hope that our daughter is fierce like her.”

Congrats to the happy family!
