CipherLoc Announces Hardware Integration Research

Effort Will Focus on Making Patented Encryption Engine Commercially Available

AUSTIN, TX / ACCESSWIRE / February 6, 2018 / CipherLoc Corporation (CLOK), a leading provider of highly secure data protection technology, today announced that it is beginning the research and prototyping necessary to move its revolutionary polymorphic encryption engine into hardware.

Software applications that integrate CipherLoc are both faster and more secure than those using other software-based implementations of AES or other encryption algorithms. CipherLoc has begun moving into hardware which will allow solutions to be provided to companies unable to make use of the existing software library. Industries that will see a benefit to this support include, but are not limited to, IoT, network appliances (routers, modems), industrial control devices, automotive systems, and crypto currency wallets. In addition, development of a hardware-based CipherLoc will aid in the development of encryption appliances that will make encryption available to an even wider audience. CipherLoc believes that running in hardware will increase the engine speed, as well as overall algorithmic security.

Partners are currently being evaluated to help speed the transition from software to hardware. Upon selecting a partner, the software will be converted, a proof of concept will be developed and tested, and the first commercial product release will be planned. Full hardware commercialization is expected no later than the end of 2018.
