The New York-based company said it had profit of 15 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 17 cents per share.

The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 14 cents per share.

The airport security company posted revenue of $171 million in the period, also beating Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $166.7 million.

For the year, the company reported profit of $28.1 million, or 31 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $613.6 million.

For the current quarter ending in March, Clear Secure said it expects revenue in the range of $172 million to $174 million.
