Cornerstone Building Brands Appoints Dr. Marcia Avedon to its Board of Directors
CARY, N.C., March 26, 2024--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Cornerstone Building Brands, Inc., a leading manufacturer of exterior building products in North America, has appointed Marcia Avedon, Ph.D., as a member of its board of directors (the "Board"), effective April 1, 2024. Marcia will serve on the Board’s Compensation Committee.
Marcia is the Chief Executive Officer of Avedon Advisory, LLC, which she founded in 2022. From 2020 to 2022, Marcia served as Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources, Marketing and Communications Officer for Trane Technologies, plc, where she was responsible for all global human resource and reputation management strategies and functions. From 2007 to 2020, she held senior leadership positions at Ingersoll-Rand, plc, including serving as Executive Vice President, Human Resources, Communications and Corporate Affairs. Earlier in her career, Marcia held executive positions in human resources at Merck & Company, Honeywell International and Anheuser-Busch Companies.

Marcia previously served on the board of directors of GCP Applied Technologies and Lincoln National Corporation.
