VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) _ CounterPath Corp. (CPAH) on Wednesday reported a loss of $1.4 million in its fiscal fourth quarter.

On a per-share basis, the Vancouver, British Columbia-based company said it had a loss of 24 cents. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring gains, came to 28 cents per share.

The business telecommunications company posted revenue of $2.8 million in the period.

For the year, the company reported that its loss widened to $3.2 million, or 59 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $12.4 million.

The company's shares closed at $2.94. A year ago, they were trading at $2.42.
