Crawford Central hires curriculum director

Mar. 28—Crawford Central School Board on Monday moved to fill the vacancy created when the district's former curriculum director was hired as superintendent.

Board members unanimously approved the hiring of Kenneth Wolfarth as director of K-12 curriculum. Wolfarth comes to Crawford Central from PENNCREST School District, where he has served as principal of Maplewood Junior-Senior High. Before that, Wolfarth was assistant principal at Meadville Area Senior High, according to Superintendent Jenn Galdon.

The Crawford Central curriculum director job comes with an annual salary of $128,544. His 2022 gross wages with PENNCREST were $113,119.95, according to a list of employee salaries posted on the district's website.
