DailyFX Webinar Schedule: Week of May 12, 2013

We’ve seen another heave in volatility and a number of critical moves were achieved this past week. USDJPY has jumped above ¥100.00, EURUSD has struggled near $1.3000, and AUDUSD has finally dropped to $1.0000. These are great developments for FX traders who are looking for active markets.

For event risk over the coming week, we have a number of interesting topics including Japanese GDP (a good means to see how the drop in the Yen is helping the economy), US CPI as a QE3 measure, and a dense round of Chinese data releases.

Top event risk for the week – and therefore the event we host in DailyFX-Plus – is the Euro-zone 1Q GDP report. Will this report revive Euro-zone crisis fears and subsequently revive Euro selling pressure? Will the ECB take this data as a cue to follow up on its recent rate cut to further pursue stimulus?
