Daniel T. Keough Named Chairman and CEO of Holmes Murphy(R) & Associates
DES MOINES, IA--(Marketwired - January 06, 2014) - Daniel T. Keough has been named chairman and CEO of Holmes Murphy & Associates.
Keough succeeds Jim Swift as chairman. Swift has been named director of development opportunities as part of the organization's planned leadership perpetuation strategy.
"Since joining our firm in 1999 Dan has been successful leading each division he has been responsible for," said Swift. "I feel confident that Dan and his management team are well positioned to transition the next generation of Holmes Murphy."
As chairman and CEO, Keough oversees Holmes Murphy's regional divisions, develops division and department revenue objectives, and oversees Holmes Murphy's affiliated companies, Innovative Captive Strategies and Creative Risk Solutions.
Keough served as founder and CEO of Innovative Captive Strategies before being named CEO of Homes Murphy & Associates in 2012. He holds an MBA with a specialty in finance from Loyola University Graduate School of Business, and is professionally accredited as a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter.
Keough was named to Des Moines' "Forty under Forty" business leadership hall of fame. He is a member of the Greater Des Moines Leadership Institute and of Young Presidents' Organization Iowa chapter. He is a member of several boards of directors, including Kum & Go, L.C. Advisory Board, Bankers Trust Community Board, United Way of Central Iowa, and Dowling Catholic High School Foundation.
