Delek US Holdings: 3Q Earnings Snapshot

BRENTWOOD, Tenn. (AP) _ Delek US Holdings Inc. (DK) on Tuesday reported third-quarter earnings of $179.8 million.

The Brentwood, Tennessee-based company said it had net income of $2.03 per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring gains and to account for discontinued operations, came to $2.02 per share.

The results exceeded Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $1.99 per share.

The refinery operator posted revenue of $2.5 billion in the period.

Delek US Holdings shares have increased nearly 5 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has climbed 29 percent in the last 12 months.
