It is about an hour and half trip to both valleys, with many tours offering bus or even limo service to various wineries and back again, with great history lessons and stops at other points of interest. It is an easy and safe way to experience many tasting rooms. Of course, staying in the area has its own rewards, such as the sight of early golden California sun warming the foggy vineyards or leisurely walks and a picnic lunch amid the rolling hills and oak trees in the area.
