The diversified holding company posted revenue of $174 million in the period, beating Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $170.8 million.

For the year, the company reported profit of $21.4 million, or $1.08 per share. Revenue was reported as $719.2 million.

For the current quarter ending in March, DMC Global said it expects revenue in the range of $168 million to $178 million.

DMC Global shares have fallen slightly more than 7% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $17.44, a fall of 30% in the last 12 months.
