Drake Opens Up About Being a "Single Father" and His Difficult Relationship with His Son's Mother
Settle in friends, because Drake just got *real* candid about what fatherhood has been like with son Adonis and how's he's been getting along with his baby mama Sophie Brussaux.
Drake made an appearance on Friday's episode of LeBron Jame's show The Shop, and revealed that he's "just excited" about fatherhood, and that 1-year-old son Adonis has "crazy blue eyes" and is "already in the pool shooting the basketball.”
Drake also called himself a "single father" and opened up about his relationship with Sophie Brussaux, saying:
I'm still learning to communicate with a woman who, you know, we’ve had our moments. I do want to be able to explain to my son what happened. But I don’t have any desire for him to not love his mother. I don’t ever want the world to be angry at his mother. We have found ourselves in a situation and we are both equally responsible. Now, I’m just really excited to be a great father.
He also added,“No matter what happens, I have unconditional love for the mother of my child because I want him to love his mother and I have to project that energy.”
