Eletrobras taps Morgan Stanley to find buyers for gas-fired plants -report

SAO PAULO, Aug 22 (Reuters) - Brazilian power firm Eletrobras has hired investment bank Morgan Stanley to find buyers for its gas-fired power plants, newspaper Valor Economico reported on Tuesday, citing sources familiar with the matter.
Eletrobras, Latin America's largest utility, previously said it had begun structuring a process to sell the plants as part of its goal of reaching net-zero carbon emissions. (Reporting by Gabriel Araujo; Editing by Kylie Madry)
