NEWTOWN, Pa. (AP) — NEWTOWN, Pa. (AP) — Epam Systems Inc. (EPAM) on Thursday reported fourth-quarter earnings of $97.6 million.

On a per-share basis, the Newtown, Pennsylvania-based company said it had net income of $1.66. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were $2.75 per share.

The results surpassed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of 10 analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $2.51 per share.

The information technology services provider posted revenue of $1.16 billion in the period, which also topped Street forecasts. Eight analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $1.14 billion.

For the year, the company reported profit of $417.1 million, or $7.06 per share. Revenue was reported as $4.69 billion.

For the current quarter ending in March, Epam expects its per-share earnings to range from $2.26 to $2.34.

The company expects full-year earnings in the range of $10 to $10.40 per share.
