CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (AP) — CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (AP) — EverQuote, Inc. (EVER) on Monday reported a loss of $29.2 million in its third quarter.

On a per-share basis, the Cambridge, Massachusetts-based company said it had a loss of 87 cents. Losses, adjusted for restructuring costs, were 40 cents per share.

The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 72 cents per share.

The company posted revenue of $55 million in the period, also surpassing Street forecasts. Six analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $52.2 million.

For the current quarter ending in December, EverQuote said it expects revenue in the range of $47 million to $52 million.
