CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (AP) — CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (AP) — EverQuote, Inc. (EVER) on Monday reported a loss of $6.3 million in its fourth quarter.

The Cambridge, Massachusetts-based company said it had a loss of 19 cents per share.

The results surpassed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of six analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 31 cents per share.

The company posted revenue of $55.7 million in the period, also exceeding Street forecasts. Six analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $49.9 million.

For the year, the company reported a loss of $51.3 million, or $1.54 per share. Revenue was reported as $287.9 million.

For the current quarter ending in March, EverQuote said it expects revenue in the range of $78 million to $82 million.
