LIVERMORE, Calif. (AP) _ FormFactor Inc. (FORM) on Wednesday reported fourth-quarter profit of $19.3 million.

On a per-share basis, the Livermore, California-based company said it had profit of 24 cents. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 44 cents per share.

The results surpassed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 39 cents per share.

The integrated circuits diagnostic company posted revenue of $197 million in the period.

For the year, the company reported profit of $78.5 million, or 99 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $693.6 million.

For the current quarter ending in April, FormFactor expects its per-share earnings to range from 34 cents to 42 cents.

The company said it expects revenue in the range of $176 million to $188 million for the fiscal first quarter.

FormFactor shares have fallen 1% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $42.59, a rise of 65% in the last 12 months.
